Sandeman Porto Fine Ruby

Sandeman Ruby Port is rich ruby/purple in color. It has dried cherries, prunes, and raisins on the nose. The flavor is rich, full, well-balanced, soft and sweet with a hint of nuts and a medium-long finish. The aroma is of red fruits, plums, and strawberries. Traditionally, it is made to be rich and robust but with a special depth of flavor and finesse that comes from expertly blending wines. There are some traditional foods that it is paired with as well as some non-traditional foods.

This port is traditionally matched with full flavored and creamy cheeses. It also pairs well with chocolate desserts. If you serve this port with those cheeses and/or a chocolate dessert, it will pair perfectly with it.
